Paul Henreid is a civil litigation attorney, rural town council president in Los Angeles County, published muckraker, and award-winning filmmaker.


Licensed to practice law in all California state courts, all federal district courts in California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. Henreid has over two decades of civil litigation experience with pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, mediations and arbitration, trial, and appeals. Henreid was an Associate in the Environmental/Toxic Tort Department of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP, a large national law firm based in California. His civil litigation practice includes real estate, environmental, land use, water, constitutional, personal injury, consumer law, unfair business practices, false advertising, class actions, insurance coverage/bad faith attorney, title insurance, banking/securities litigation, and construction defect cases.

In 1991 Paul Henreid graduated from St. John Vianney High School, an all-boys college preparatory Catholic High School, where he was a member of the Student Council and played football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, track and field, and acted in theatre. In 1995, Paul graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri - St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and was a member of the Speech and Debate Team, Student Government, and graduate of the Pierre Laclede Honors College. In 1998, Paul received his Jurisprudence Doctorate from Washington University, a top twenty law school, where he was a board member and editor of the law review, mock trial team finalist, moot court competitor, federal judicial extern for the Chief Magistrate of the U.S. District Court, and published author in the law review.


An accomplished filmmaker, Paul Henreid has won multiple national awards for his documentaries including two Tellys, Aegis, Communicator, and Aurora awards. Henreid has worked in the editorial department of Ken Burns’ Florentine Films, and is the first certified editor of Avid Xpress Pro/Media Composer in the world. He continues to produce short videos and newspaper articles about pressing political, economic, and social issues.


A man of dynamic interests, Paul Henreid is a former nationally-ranked martial artist, Junior Olympic basketball player, and #1 “breakdancing lawyer” on YouTube that still competes in A-level tennis and beach volleyball. Paul has maintained excellent credit throughout his life and a 100% positive Ebay rating for over two decades. Henreid lives in Los Angeles County where he volunteers weekly picking up trash and tires, is a contributing writer for the Mountain Enterprise newspaper, and President of the Neenach/OSO Rural Town Council in the Antelope Valley.
